The day will begin at 8:00am, and pinning and conventional gear can be used along with bait and lures. We will have worms available, and we also have three spinning rods and two Zebco type rods for those who need them. However, I recommend that it might be better if you bring your own equipment that you are familiar with. Donuts, snacks, and juice will be on hand for the morning, and grilled hotdogs will be provided for lunch at around 11:30-noon. There will also be free novelty gifts for the kids.
This fun event is open to our member’s children, grandchildren, nephews and nieces. Please note that an adult will need to accompany and supervise their guest(s).
Since fish will be allowed to be kept, and hopefully consumed, please bring a cooler with ice so the fish do not spoil (we will not be providing ice).

| 22 | 23 | 24Lakewood Camp Coordination MeetingLakewood Camp Coordination MeetingTime: 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm As was announced at the Malden Angler’s meeting, Al Diflumeri is hosting a summer fishing adventure at Lakewood Camps in Maine July 6-11, 2025. There has been a lot of excitement among members over this trip. The camps are an opportunity to experience a North Woods adventure, nestled on the shores of Lower Richardson Lake at the headwaters of the famed Rapid River
The Rapid River is legendary for its native brook trout—some of the largest in the Lower 48—and wild landlocked salmon. Both are splendid fly fishing species.
There will be coordination and Q/A meeting on Monday June 23 7:00PM at the Malden Anglers club house for those planning to attend the trip. This is an excellent opportunity to get logistics, coordinate transportation and understand the budget. If you are planning on attending this trip it is highly recommended that you attend.
